Clearscope Diligence was founded by a group of transaction advisory veterans who saw a gap in the market: buyers and sellers in the lower and middle market were either paying Big Four rates for generalist diligence work, or hiring a local accountant who had never actually reviewed a deal. We built Clearscope to close that gap — a dedicated diligence practice sized and priced for deals between $2M and $75M in enterprise value.
Leads financial and QoE engagements, with a background in transaction advisory at a national accounting firm before founding Clearscope.
Oversees operational and commercial diligence engagements, with prior experience in private equity portfolio operations.
Manages engagement scoping and client relationships from first call through post-close true-up.
We scope every engagement to the deal — not the other way around. A $3M EBITDA acquisition doesn't need the same diligence process as a $40M platform deal, and we size our teams and timelines accordingly. Most engagements move from kickoff to final report in two to four weeks.
Our clients are searchers making a first acquisition, private equity sponsors adding to a platform, and founders preparing to sell. We work directly for buyers and sellers — never for the other side of the same deal.
